At Our Bench, getting in touch is never just a formality. For us, accessible holidays are about people first. Matt and I believe that reassurance, dignity, and being listened to are just as important as step-free access or specialist equipment. That’s why we encourage guests to contact us directly. Our accessibility practices continue to grow.
Our approach to accessibility comes from lived experience. Like many of the families who stay with us, we have supported loved ones with a wide range of disabilities, health conditions, and additional needs. We understand the emotional and practical weight that often sits behind planning a holiday, especially when care, equipment, fatigue, or uncertainty are involved.
We have made choices not to participate in the wider community as times, cause it was too much, another hurdle - but our personal circustances have changed, and now we are determined to raise increased awareness of disability changes
