Specialist equipment can make your holiday possible.
We provide a range of specialist equipment which you can book for your holiday free of charge, subject to availability and suitability. Everything we offer in-house is listed on our Equipment page.
We encourage you to request equipment as soon as you book your stay. You are also welcome to check availability before booking. We do not offer every item. Sometimes this is because it has not been requested regularly, sometimes because a trusted supplier can deliver and maintain it (which avoids ongoing servicing costs), and sometimes because we simply do not have storage space.
If the equipment you require is not part of our in-house range, you are welcome to hire items from external providers. Deliveries can usually be arranged for the Friday before your arrival (between 10am and 1pm).
Please let us know before arranging delivery so we can double-check the details, ensure the item is placed in the right location, and make sure someone is available to accept delivery.
External equipment is hired directly between you and the supplier. We are happy to help with access, delivery coordination and placement, but we do not provide, service or insure third-party equipment. Any charges, training, setup instructions and safety guidance remain the responsibility of the hire company.

Guests often tell us this is essential to their stay. We commonly recommend hiring from Dorset Nursing Supplies (often the lower-cost option) or Winton Health Care Solutions.
If you let us know in advance, we can store our mattress off site (where appropriate), the supplier can deliver prior to your arrival, and we can ensure everything is positioned correctly and make the bed up for you. You will still need to adjust any settings to suit your needs.
Some guests choose to bring their own airflow mattress from home. With notice, we can remove our mattress (if it is not a topper) and leave a set of linen ready for you to use.
Oxygen delivery
- Oxygen delivery: some providers can be unpredictable with delivery times. If we know a delivery is booked, we can help with access and ensure equipment is received safely and collected correctly.
We understand you cannot travel with a week’s worth of oxygen. Please speak to your oxygen provider as early as possible so your holiday address and delivery dates can be arranged in good time.
If you are eligible for VAT relief on disability-related equipment hire, please ask your supplier about the process.
