At Our Bench, Matt and I believe that accessible holidays are about far more than ramps and equipment. They are about people, reassurance, dignity, and being truly listened to. We have used this section of the site to include lots of information about the area with wheelchair access and/or limited mobility as our focus - not everything we suggest is suitable for everyone, but we thought we would include some suggestions and pointers - as going somewhere new can be a challenge, equally we might have an accessible walk you have never explored, a restaurant or cafe we think is great - and we always welcome your suggestions too.
