Escape to Little Bench, a wheelchair-accessible bungalow designed for two, nestled on the peaceful outskirts of Lymington, just 2 miles from the enchanting New Forest National Park. Our purpose-built accommodation offers a perfect blend of modern comfort and homey touches, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Little Bench situtated on the outskirts of Lymington. It's great a base to explore the New Forest National Park (the park boundary is at the end of the road), to discover the picturesque town of Lymington, to enjoy day trips to Beaulieu, Portsmouth, Salisbury. Spend time on one of the beautiful south coast beaches or to enjoy a bracing walk along the coastal paths of the Lymington to Keyhaven nature reserve. Our master bedroom features a height-adjustable profiling/carer's bed with removable rails and a second head and foot riser bed. You can arrange the beds as a twin room or a king-size bed upon request, both accessible via the ceiling hoist (LOLER checked to a maximum weight capacity of 21 stone/133 kilos).

Second bed with foot and head risers (profiling bed)
Option to arrange the beds as a twin or king.
Ceiling hoist available for use over the beds

Location and Parking: Little Bench is situated up a shared private driveway, with convenient parking and turning space on tarmac and easy level access to your front door.

Short Breaks: Monday to Friday, subject to availability

You are welcome to interact with the tour above, look around the different rooms in Little Bench. Little Bench was made up with twin beds (a super king is available) and a wheeled shower chair and shower stool were placeaced inside the cottage, these are available on request.

Green Energy: We use 100% renewable electricity, and we offset the carbon emissions from our gas usage for heating and cooking. This means you can enjoy your holiday with the peace of mind that you’re reducing your carbon footprint.

Recycling and Waste Management: We encourage all our guests to recycle, with facilities provided for glass, tins, cardboard, plastic, and paper. Organic waste can be composted, and general waste is incinerated to generate electricity locally. This helps reduce landfill and contributes to sustainable energy production.

Public Transport: With a convenient bus stop right outside our property, you have the option to reduce your vehicle emissions by taking public transport. It’s a simple way to help protect the environment while exploring the local area.

Electric Vehicle Charging: For guests driving electric vehicles, we offer charging points through the Voltshare network. To use them, download the app (https://voltshare.net), a smart phone and your type 2 charging lead. Instructions are provided on the chargers, managed by Voltshare to ensure a seamless charging experience.
