Little Bench - wheelchaire accessible holiday cottages in Lymington, New Forest with step free access and welcoming interiors for two people - ideal for couples

Little Bench - Accessible self catering in Lymington, New Forest, Hampshire for two

Little Bench – accessible self catering for two

Little Bench is purpose-built, fully wheelchair accessible accommodation for two guests near Lymington, with the forest and coast close by, a place where you can arrive, settle in, and truly relax, with accessibility thoughtfully built in from the moment you get in touch with us.

Little Bench exists for a simple reason: not every accessible holiday needs a big house. Sometimes what you really need is a quiet, comfortable place that works properly for two, with level access, space to manoeuvre, and the right bedroom and bathroom facilities in place from the moment you arrive.

It may be little in the number of bedrooms, but it is not less accessible. It simply means you are not paying for bedrooms you do not use. You still have the essentials that matter: a ceiling hoist over the beds, profiling bed options arranged as twins or a king, and a level-entry wet room with supportive equipment available.

Whether you are a full-time wheelchair user, have limited mobility and need level access, specialist furniture, or quiet spaces. Each cottage provides a height-adjustable profiling bed, additional electric head-and-foot riser beds, a bedroom ceiling hoist, and a level wet room with ample turning space—giving step-free access from your car to your bed.

The bedroom overlooks a quiet courtyard garden, giving you a peaceful place to wake up, unwind and reset after exploring Lymington, the New Forest or the nearby coast.

Let us know your preference for a King or Twins, and we will have it ready for your arrival.

“This is the first time we have stayed in a property adapted for the needs of the disabled. It was wonderful for my wife to be able to have a shower whilst on holiday, and to move around freely in her wheelchair whenever she wanted.”
Steve Jeffery – Little Bench

“Dave and I found the holiday at Little Bench life-changing. It opened my eyes to what is possible despite Dave’s illness. There is a different way of living.”
