A guest's story
Recently, we welcomed a couple celebrating their mini-moon after their wedding. They spent their days exploring the New Forest, enjoying lunch by the coast and walking through the Keyhaven and Lymington Nature Reserve. We were also delighted to join them for a walk in the New Forest and capture some beautiful photographs as they began their married life together.
Once we knew they were planning to spend their mini-moon at Little Bench, we wanted to make sure they arrived to a warm, welcoming space where they could relax from the moment they arrived. We know how special those first memories of married life can become.
Little Bench sleeps two and offers accessible self-catering accommodation in the New Forest without losing the feeling of a cosy retreat for two. The beds can be positioned together to create a king-size sleeping arrangement while retaining their specialist features. One is a height-adjustable profiling/carer bed and the other is a standard electric profiling bed with head-and-foot adjustment.
It means couples can still enjoy sleeping close together, sharing breakfast in bed and enjoying the quiet moments that make a holiday memorable.
Accessibility should never mean compromising on comfort, romance or independence.
Whether you are planning a mini-moon, celebrating an anniversary or simply escaping everyday life for a few nights, Little Bench gives you the space to enjoy time together your way.
Spend the morning watching the ponies wander through the forest. Enjoy fish and chips by the sea at Milford on Sea. Stop for coffee in Lymington, then return after a day exploring and enjoy dinner at one of the many welcoming New Forest pubs.

For guests who need additional support during their stay, local carers and care agencies can be arranged privately if required. This can give couples and families flexible support while retaining their independence and privacy.
