SHORT BREAKS AVAILABLE ALL YEAR

A lovely annexe accommodation for two with an open plan design.

Entrance leads into small lounge area with 2 seater settee and an easy chair which leads to the huge 6 foot bed or can be twin bedded. The wall mounted television is view-able from the bed or the lounge area.


To the side there is a dining area between the shower room and the kitchen.

The shower room has a floor level shower, wc and washbasin, and heated towel rail, with towels for your use.

The separate kitchen comes with toaster,kettle, larder fridge, microwave and a small two burner electric oven/grill. A wide selection of kitchen utensils are supplied including all cutlery, saucepans, dishes, china tea, towels and hand towel.

Grandmas Retreat is also suitable for the disabled with a helper, wheel-in shower chair available

.

Included in your accommodation is a Radio alarm clock with CD player, and if staying more than one week we will change your bed-linen for you

All heating and domestic hot water is included in the tariff, as is bed-linen, towels and tea towels

Parking is no problem either, you can park off road outside your door

Grandmas Retreat is adjacent to Our Bench in the village of Pennington, Lymington.

From Grandmas Retreat it is only a five minute walk to the village shops with its two public houses, chemist, bakers, fish and chip shop, and a one stop store. A twenty minute walk or five minutes by car will take you to the lovely Georgian yachting town of Lymington, with its many restaurants and public houses and takeaways. Saturday's in Lymington has a lovely street market selling everything you could think off. Lymington is situated on a River so you have marinas, yacht haven and lovely walks along the river front. You can also take a boat trip to the Isle of Wight.

 

Just 2 miles to the right from Grandmas Retreat you will find the open New Forest which has 93,000 acres waiting for you to explore. To visit some parts of the New Forest you will need a car but we do have mountain bikes for hire for those who like a leisurely ride. We also have some lovely attractions in the New Forest information on which you will find on arrival. Take a ride through the beautiful villages and stop and have a cream tea or try a New Forest Cider at Burley.
