Mary and Roger welcome you...

Mary and Roger Lewis are the owners of Our Bench their home, Little Bench, Bench Cottage and Grandmas Retreat.

They have been welcoming guests and helping them discover the delights of Lymington and the New Forest since 1985, during which time they have recieved numerous awards.

Mary and Roger have been married for over thirty seven years, and have lived all their lives around the New Forest, so they can tell you plenty of stories about the area - perhaps you would like to know why all the 'benches'? This dates back to when they were courting!

They have two children, who are now both married and they have 6 grandchildren, the youngest born in 2004

Mary and Roger decided to build the self catering cottages for the new Millenium, as they realised how little accommodation there was within the New Forest, that was fully accessible to disabled people. Mary herself is disabled, having six replacement hips and after an accident in 2005 Mary is now a power chair user out side of her home- and therefore makes her the perfect hostess for understanding your needs.
