Why visit Our Bench?
Our Bench is situated in the small village of Pennington 2 miles form the open New Forest now a National Park and the Yachting town of Lymington, with its marinas and yacht haven and the busy Quay were fishing vessels and yachts are in and out all day. With only a 20 minute walk into Lymington you can explore the cobble street and the narrow pathways where the quay and its surroundings were full of smugglers in years gone by. Wonder through the Charter market held every Saturday right though the year. Take a boat ride on Lymington River or join the Ferry to the Isle of Wight for another great day out.
This is a quiet ideal spot to stay, to tour the beautiful New Forest National Park, Visit the Gardens, spend a day at one of our museums from Sammy Millers Motor Bikes to Beaulieu Motor Motor, Learn more about Lymington by visiting its own museum. We keep a good range of leaflets and information on the whole area.
Although we have a Railway Station at Lymington to visit all the places you do need some form of transport, either a car or cycle or in the summer months take the New Forest Tour bus.

Italian, Chinese and Indian , all within walking distance.
